there really is nothing like being in a hottub stuffed to the gills with 14 people, and not knowing who's limb (or other body part) is whose.

or having your nekkid legs wrapped around the back of a nekkid gay man, while jokes ensue from the peanut gallery. (*watches her flist dissolve into envy*)

or falling asleep to the symphony of spring (today's euphemism, hee).

or watching a polygendered maypole-fluffing.

or watching a gay man TRULY flame...with POI! (and laced leather pants; let us not forget the laced leather pants)...

or watching a naked woman dance with poi. which is a beautiful thing, let me tell you.

or geeking out talking movies/comix/slash with your fave people and teasing out philosophical and Pagan subtext from said sources WHILE simply geeking out.

or spending 18 or so hours with some of your fave people, with no hang-ups about much of anything intruding in the joy.

thank you all, again, for a lovely time, another mystery in the Mysteries. It was SO wonderful to be with y'all once more! I can't wait for Sickle and/or any chance i can get up to the Tab (and then, of course, next set of auditions, LOL. I got into two conversations already about possible audition material)! And thanks to S&B for their hospitality, slideshow, and tour of a really lovely house. (jealous!)

if life could only be like that every day.

oh, happy momsday to all the moms out there! (a sentiment posted late because it takes me longer now to recover from debauchery of even my mild and JAFO-ish sort, so i napped from about two till about six, showered off the--very dirty--hottub water, called the g-ma and mama, then napped again from about seven to midnight, LOL.)

back to bed, with pleasant dreams.
again, i miss you guys already!!!

just as there is nothing like the sisterhood of CLex, there is nothing like pagans. You get serious (if joyous) religious/ritual observance...followed by gluttonous feasting and nekkid hottubbing and general hedonism. all is celebration.

damn, i love being a (loosely-framed) Wiccan/Neo-Pagan. spirituality without boundaries, life without guilt. (a little shame on occasion, but no guilt, hee!)
it's just the best.
